With Rebecca Yarros' book Onyx Storm coming out, I thought it would be fun to create what I would do as a teaser trailer if I had a book coming out. The villians in the story fly on wyverns that breathe blue fire. Also, the tagline of the book is "brave the dark." So, I used those concepts to tease the title. Additionally, the main character has lightening powers, so I used lightning off-screen to light up the body of the wyvern. I also figured out how to work with fire simulations in Blender and created a rig that worked for a wyvern loosely based off of a bird rig. Overall, I'm proud of how it turned out!
